What are the reasons for unstable pressure in melt pumps
The unstable pressure of the melt pump may be caused by various reasons.
Firstly, fluctuations in the inlet pressure of the melt pump can affect the output pressure, such as unstable upstream feeding, pipeline blockage, or viscosity changes caused by changes in melt temperature.
Secondly, gear wear of the melt pump will decrease the volumetric efficiency of the pump, resulting in unstable pressure.
Furthermore, damaged seals may cause leaks, making it impossible to maintain stable pressure. If there is air or impurities inside the melt gear pump, it can also interfere with normal operation and cause pressure fluctuations. In addition, unstable motor speed or transmission system faults may also cause unstable melt pump pressure.
